Localiza Hertz is building the future of mobility with Meta IT

The challenge for giant Localiza Hertz was in changing the way to work, with total focus on customers, and more agility and flexibility to meet market demands. And they found Meta for a partnership to perform this work. Thinking about Localiza Hertz’s challenge and context, Meta established the best strategies and actions for work to be as effective as possible.

In this case, it was about digital transformation, which encompasses technology and people. Since it is essential to have a focused approach that values ​​people, Meta developed a new operating model in the form of a solution, with the business and technology areas connected and centered on end customers.

The highlights of the solution were the scalable Agile Model composed of 12 tribes, 72 teams and more than 700 people involved; a lean portfolio management area; a ​​change management, culture, and communication area; a Localiza Labs agility team; a product team; a culture of experimentation; a corporate agile maturity model; and adopting the agile model also outside IT. “Meta helped a lot in implementing the agile methodology within the company, all based on SAFe” Localiza Hertz CTO, André Petenussi.

The results of this large project were mainly a more agile and digital customer experience; the digital transformation of the BackOffice which brought more productivity to the company; and
